Friday night my sister called me super excited. She had just eaten like the best pizza ever in this new place in the Zurenborg neighborhood.
A new pizza place in town!
At the Draakplaats Marc Decruyenaere opens a new pizza place with a real woodoven on Tuesday. Friday night he organized a tasting for the neighborhood residents which my sister and her family attended.
A great bar for a nice aperitif and some pizza
Apparently a very nice place with excellent pizza. The crust is crisp on the outside but still tender in the middle. Marc went to Italy to learn how to bake ‘real’ Napolitan pizza’s and brought back a real pizzaiolo Marcello with him. Marcello prepares the real authentic pizza’s.
A great thin crust with fresh topping!
