Getting ready for spring: join the Lenteweek!

As you might know I have altered our eating habits a while ago and we try to keep to these new and healthier habits: more greens, less meat but better meat, less sugar, a lot of seeds and nuts, no dairy and no gluten. The last two because we have to, not because gluten or dairy are unhealthy.

When I heard about the A.Vogel #Lenteweek action I was interested to see how it was built up. I really like the idea that by following the Lenteweek you are not only getting ready for spring but you can change your eating habits (a bit) and introduce a healthier way of eating for you and your family.

I had the privilege to follow the Lenteweek in ‘avant-premiere’ and must say I really liked the way the program is build up. For every day of the week you get a menu and some information about the theme of the day for example “Lego on your plate” (day 3) gives you information of proteins and why you need them in a healthy diet and lifestyle.

The amount of veggies and fruit you eat during the Lenteweek looks a lot at first but you will soon find out the benefits on your digestion. Especially if you combine the menus with the A.Vogel package. I have a terrible digestion and I eat fruit and veggies all the time but it wasn’t until I started using the Molkosan and Boldocynara Forte that I have finally found some kind of regularity. Recipes

The recipes in the menu are easy and quick to prepare and there are some original ones like a farinata and you even get to prepare your own kimchi.

Personally I have altered some of the recipes for instance I don’t like a green smoothie with plant based milk so I swapped the milk for coconut water. And all the dairy products I have either left out or swapped for plant based products or dairy free products if necessary. For me a sauce to serve with veggies does not have to contain fresh cheese or yoghurt but that is for everyone to decide for him or herself.

You can also purchase the A.Vogel Lenteweek package online or in participating stores. The package contains products that enhance the effects and benefits of following the meal plan from the Lenteweek:
