The Belgian weather forecast for today was like…tropical weather and a seriously hot day.
With this in mind I’d suggest you to organise a beach picknick. You will have the sea breeze and kids can play and cool down in the sea.
Picknick time
For lunch you can try either a nice salad, a foccacia with some cured meats or a great tuna salad.
When I organize a lunch on the beach I keep my food cold in this super handy pick nick bag from Campingaz. It is nice to look at and it keeps my salads and drinks really cool. I always put some freezing elements inside the bag while I am packing. This really helps to keep your pick nick cool.
Smoothie time
As a snack I always bring a juice or smoothie for the kids or some lemon or cucumber water. They are kept cool in the Klean Kanteen tumblers. Since I have this tumbler I must say I can’t live without it anymore. Especially the insulated bottle. What a bliss this is in the mornings when I am running out of time and my smoothie is still smiling at me. I put it in the insulated tumbler and 3 hours later it is still as cold as when I poured it in. Love it!
Baby Smoothie
You can either go and have a nice ice cream in an ice cream parlor, but be sure to try the Ice Crime with stevia. A real discovery for me since I don’t like the taste of Stevia, but this ice cream was really yummie. Try it out I’d say.

Enjoy this hot day! I will be moving and arranging our new seaside home away from home….looking forward to it but I won’t mind the temperature to drop just a little today.
